A humble request.

We founded Cherdi Kala with the intention to teach Kundalini Yoga and Karam Kriya. Cherdi Kala means the art of upliftment and upliftment is easiest achieved in the company of  others.  May Cherdi Kala live up to its name and initiates activities where  the spirit of community invites human beings to meet each other beyond age, gender, nationality and belief systems and by that, to meet their true selves. May it establish a sense of community and may it inspire you to carry this sense into other areas of your life where it may uplift and inspire others to recognise the human race as One.

 Sat Nam,

Bachitar Kaur

co-founder of the International Kundalini Yoga & Karam Kriya Centre Rotterdam, is an internationally qualified Kundalini Yoga Teacher (KRI), Karam Kriya Teacher and Consultant (Karam Kriya School, London), certified BusinessYoga Teacher, certified Systemic Coach (Academy for Systemic Coaching, Cologne) and qualified Usui Reiki® Master. She is currently mentoring to become a KY Teacher Trainer herself.

Prior to joining her husband in the Netherlands, she ran her own Yoga and Stress Management Business in London. This gave her the opportunity to teach yoga in public institutions such as prisons and schools, local branches of the National Health Service, in clinics, gyms and in corporate companies, where her experience as HR Manager & Coach was of advantage. In cooperation with various Yoga Centres she gave regular courses, classes, workshops and one-to-one sessions/yoga therapy. Additionally, as active member of  the GRDP Charity she was given the chance to teach yoga to elderly people and people in drug rehabilitation centres. Through her work with prisoners she was also able to support the Prison Phoenix Trust Charity.

Extended travels into East Asia during and after accomplishing her Master’s studies in sociology, communication and organisational psychology in Bamberg and Madrid back her profound knowledge about East Asian culture and philosophy, especially yoga.
